⭐️⭐️⭐️🚸🚲⭐️⭐️⭐️We would like to extend to you an invitation to participate in a Walkability Audit along Bridge Avenue next Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. This audit will be conducted by Point Pleasant Borough Complete Streets and representatives from the Greater Mercer TMA. The group of participants will meet on the sidewalk in front of the Pt. Pleasant Boro Municipal Building, then navigate westward along Bridge Avenue to Sunrise Avenue (0.6 mi), then cross over Bridge Avenue and walk eastward to return to the starting point (total 1.2 mi).Walkability Audits are done to assess streets to identify barriers to walking and biking. These audits can help the Boro elementary schools gain a higher recognition status for future grant applications for infrastructure improvements to the areas as they are included in the Safe Routes to School zone surrounding the schools. This audit activity will further strengthen the public commitment by Pt. Boro to make recommended improvements for the safety of our residents of all ages and all abilities. Please bring a camera, or your phone camera, in order to document the barriers visually. So, get your sneakers on, roll a stroller or walk along, and join us! Hope to see you on Saturday the 14th. Thank you!#ppbcompletestreets
